Texas Mooring maintains a fleet of high quality mooring boats to serve the Houston Ship Channel. These mooring boats are 22-foot flush deck all aluminum boats strategically placed along the channel to provide excellent service to our customers.
We invest in Helm’s Vessel Management Software that provides our team with monthly reports and up-to-the-minute vessel analysis. Our hazard and risk analysis services are focused on ensuring that the highest level of assessment is provided – whether you have a single vessel or an entire fleet. Texas Mooring employs a team of personnel on the water and on call 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Training is vital to safety and with Texas Mooring, safety means limiting liability, not only for ourselves, but for our customers as well.
Texas Mooring is the leader in safety awareness and is committed to limiting exposure to liability and to increase boatman safety. All training is conducted for our boatman and boat operators in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Worker proficiency and advanced emergency training also allow the boatmen to succeed in working safely and efficiently.
Our ongoing Safety Management System (SMS) includes monthly safety awareness seminars for boatmen and monthly safety audits of mooring personnel, operations and equipment.
